a fish and an apple

the fish and the apple
were not a tasty couple
but however;
they dived into the water,
tumbled to double,
and they divided, too
and would you
imagine
these two
ran away and hid
before the grid
opened its mouth to gulp
all the water..
but the light in the air
pierced the grid's eyes
until the two were out of sight
for the rest of their hasty lives..
